MISSION StatementSankofa Education and Leadership, Inc. (Public Art for Racial Justice Educationstrives to ensure diverse equitable and inclusive educational and arts programing for marginalized and underserved individuals, families, and communities.

Sankofa Education and Leadership, Inc celebrated our 10th anniversary on March 13, 2023. The three program areas of concentration are: Leadership & Development, Scholarship and Educational, Cultural and Enrichment.

The Leadership & Development Program focus on civic and social leadership and educating our young people about the benefits of joining civic organizations, accepting positions in elected and/or appointed offices and participating on town committees, boards and commissions.

The Scholarship Program is dedicated to providing financial assistance to the youth and young adults including scholarships for college and career readiness, internships and local, state and national programs and competitions in the areas of academics, arts, athletics, technology and leadership.

The Educational, Cultural and Enrichment Program conduct various programs to provide the knowledge and tools necessary for marginalized and underserved youth to succeed in today’s society and global economy.
